In response to an unprecedented set of challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gulf & Basco MAY TEMPORARILY  SUSPEND NON-EMERGENCY SERVICES.  As resources allow, our service team will continue to provide emergency and urgent services.

We will continue to work hard to PRIORITIZE requests that meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Services required to pass city inspection and or are in the process of closing a home
  • Window is leaking
  • Broken glass

Before We Begin

Gulf and Basco will not be responsible for any discrepancies if customer provided measurement and/or product information. Any additional material or labor needed due to customer errors will be chargeable.

Delays may result from reorders/errors/remakes/backorders/vendor delays; strictly no financial compensation for delays out of our control. Verbal changes after this approved quote submitted not honored. The proposed price is subject to change if there are any changes to the size or configuration, additional services are requested, or options not listed in the actual proposal. Lead times given are based on information received by manufacturers and are subject to change at any time and without notice, therefore Gulf and Basco shall not be held responsible for delays caused by manufacturers.

Outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to the day of service (excluding Builders/Contractors with credit accounts).

Window coverings, furniture, wall hangings and other personal belongings from areas leading to, and immediately surrounding, where work will be performed must be removed before scheduling your next service. Gulf and Basco will not be responsible for damage to personal property that has not been removed from these areas.

All glass must be inspected at the time of pick up/delivery or installation following the general industry standards guidelines provided. Gulf and Basco is unable to process requests to replace glass that meet general industry standards guidelines.
None emergency requests may still be submitted, but MAY BE DELAYED or PUT ON HOLD until further notice
We are no longer able to process warranty claims without submitting the original order information to the manufacturer. Please note, our records only go back to 2015 and partially to 2014. If you do not have your original order receipt, you can locate and submit a picture of your window or door label. If you are unable to locate your window label nor obtain the window size, we can schedule a technician to go out and try to find the label for you and take measurements for a fee of $85. This service fee will go towards any additional labor fees related to this request.
Most of our manufacturers offer a limited warranty for up to 10 years.

In this case – more is always better. The more description you can provide regarding your issue and the service you are requesting, the more efficiently we can handle your request and resolve the issue. Any information you can provide on the type and style of the window is great; model numbers are even better. You can also attach explanatory JPEG photos and PDF documents.

If you’re working with a builder, remodeler or designer that has an account with us, you may be eligible for additional discounts. Enter his/her name or business name in the “Company” field.
